(2 items)The Moon Mammoths is a creation of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. The SeaWolves were selected in May of 2025 for a new identity provided by the HBO show. During the summer of 1991, diver George Moon, along with four others, discovered mammoth bones at the bottom of Lake Pleasant in Venango Township. The mammoth now resides at The State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, where about 80% of the "Moon Mammoth" is protected.
